The sourcecodestack video editor lets you cut, arrange and export video without installing software or uploading a single byte to a server. Decoding, previewing, filtering and final encoding all happen locally on your device using your browser's built-in WebCodecs API and a bundled FFmpeg WebAssembly engine — your footage never leaves your computer, with no watermarks and no file-size paywall.
It is built for quick, real edits: trimming a clip for social media, stitching several recordings together, adding captions, adjusting colour, or pulling the audio out of a video. On desktop you get a multi-track timeline with keyboard shortcuts; because that workflow needs a larger screen, a mouse and a keyboard, phones and small tablets are asked to switch to a desktop browser.
