Overview

QR & Barcode Scanner: point, scan, done

This scanner reads QR codes and common barcodes straight from your device's camera — or from an image you upload — and shows you what they contain. Point the camera at a code and it decodes instantly; if the result is a link, one tap opens it. It handles QR codes plus retail and shipping barcode formats like EAN, UPC, Code 128 and Data Matrix.

Crucially, it uses your browser's built-in Barcode Detection API, which means the scanning happens entirely on your device. No frames from your camera and no images are ever uploaded to a server — a real difference from many scanner sites and apps. There is nothing to install; it just works in a supported browser.
